We've been awarded funding from the People Powered Places scheme to bring literature, arts and science activities to The UP Garden in the form of a book exchange, community piano, and nature trail.

We will be running 1-hour sessions for the community to help with creating them. Tasks will be very physical in nature and may include hammering, screwing, stripping, sanding, priming, painting, etc. As there will be toolwork, the tasks also require comprehension and attention skills. We will provide PPE. Please dress for mess!

 

If you'd like to help, register your interest below. Please note that this does NOT confirm your place. Due to logistical and safety reasons, we have to limit the number of people at each session. We'll aim to allocate spaces so as many people get to help as possible. You will receive one e-mail to confirm which sessions you have registered interest in and, if we have space(s) for you, you will receive a second e-mail confirming which session(s).

Please note that sessions may be photographed and/or videoed, and the content used across our printed and digital publicity to publicise events, services or to support future funding applications to third parties.
